Ingredients
1 kilogram of Wheat flour
50 grams of Yeast
1 kilogram of Ground meat
1 Large onion
2 Lemons, juice squeezed
1 teaspoon of Cumin
1 teaspoon of Borlotti beans
Tomato sauce
Sugar
1 pinch of Salt
Oil
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare the dough, sift the flour into a bowl.
Step 2 : In another bowl, dissolve the yeast with 1 3/4 cups of water and mix everything to knead.
Step 3 : Let it rise near the heat of the stove.
Step 4 : In a skillet with oil, sauté the chopped onion until golden.
Step 5 : In a separate bowl, mix the raw ground meat, lemon juice, cumin, borlotti beans, then add the tomato sauce and sugar.
Step 6 : Combine everything with the browned onion.
Step 7 : With the dough, form balls smaller than the palm of your hand and, using a rolling pin, flatten them to resemble empanada discs.
Step 8 : Place the filling inside and fold the tips inward to form a triangle.
Step 9 : You can brush them with egg to give the dough a golden color and bake on a greased baking sheet at medium-high heat for 15-20 minutes.
