Ingredients

¼ kilogram of Puff pastry sheets or filo

1 kilogram of Spinach

400 grams of Fresh cheese

2 Beaten eggs

4 Onions

Chopped parsley

Chopped dill

Olive oil

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : The spinach is washed and finely chopped, then kneaded with a tablespoon of salt and left to rest for one hour.

Step 2 : Then it is rinsed and properly drained.

Step 3 : In a bowl, the spinach is mixed with olive oil, chopped onions, cheese, eggs, dill, parsley, salt, and pepper.

Step 4 : A sheet of puff pastry is spread on a baking tray previously greased with butter, brushed with olive oil, and the spinach mixture is added on top.

Step 5 : More sheets of puff pastry are placed on top, brushing each with olive oil.

Step 6 : The top sheets are cut into squares and sprinkled with water to prevent them from curling.

Step 7 : Then, the pastry is baked at medium temperature for 40-45 minutes.

Step 8 : Allow to cool, cut into squares, and serve hot or cold.
