Ingredients
425 grams of Flour
100 grams of Brown sugar
1 tablespoon of Baking powder
1 teaspoon of Baking soda
1 teaspoon of Cinnamon
60 grams of Chopped nuts
300 grams of Honey
100 milliliters of Warm coffee
4 Eggs
60 milliliters of Vegetable oil
Preparation
Step 1 : First, grease a rectangular mold or a high-sided tray with butter or cover it with parchment paper to facilitate removal.
Step 2 : In a large bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon, then add the chopped nuts, mixing everything well.
Step 3 : In another bowl, dissolve the honey in the warm coffee, and separately, beat the eggs with the vegetable oil.
Step 4 : Next, add the coffee and honey mixture to the beaten eggs and stir until well combined.
Step 5 : Then, pour this liquid mixture into the dry ingredients and mix gently until you get a smooth batter.
Step 6 : Pour the batter into the prepared mold and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 35 minutes.
Step 7 : Once done, remove from the oven and let cool before slicing the cake into bars or squares to serve.
