Ingredients
1 kilogram of Flour
½ cup of Sugar
1 tablespoon of Dry yeast
3 tablespoons of Brandy or similar
Lemon zest
100 grams of Margarine or oil
4 Eggs
1 teaspoon of Salt
1 teaspoon of Vanilla
Warm water
Preparation
Step 1 : In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, brandy, zest, oil, and salt.
Step 2 : Mix everything and then add the beaten eggs and vanilla.
Step 3 : Gradually pour in the warm water until forming a dough.
Step 4 : Knead and let rise until it doubles in size.
Step 5 : Then knead again, form small balls, and fry in plenty of hot oil, making sure it doesn't boil, until golden all over.
Step 6 : Remove them, place on absorbent paper, and dust with powdered sugar.
