Borscht

In a large pot, saute all the finely chopped vegetables in hot lard until they are soft.

Then, add the hot broth and boil everything until the vegetables are tender.

Strain the mixture and add the beets, cooking them until they are soft.

Once cooking is finished, blend all the contents, add a pinch of sugar, and serve in cups or small bowls, incorporating some cream on top, reserving the rest to serve in a jar if desired.

½ liter of Broth

150 grams of Cream

½ White cabbage

1 tablespoon of Sugar

4 Medium beets

100 grams of Lard

2 Celery stalks

2 Carrots

3 Leeks

1 Median onion

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 2 : Then, add the hot broth and boil everything until the vegetables are tender.

Step 3 : Strain the mixture and add the beets, cooking them until soft.

Step 4 : Once cooking is complete, blend all the contents, add a pinch of sugar, and serve in cups or small bowls.

Step 5 : Finally, top with some cream, reserving the rest to serve in a jar if desired.
