Ingredients

1 cup of Pre-soaked lentils

½ cup of Rice

10 Whole peeled garlic cloves

1 tablespoon of Ground red pepper

1 tablespoon of Marak broth powder

1 teaspoon of Salt

1 teaspoon of Black pepper

1 teaspoon of Saffron

1 tablespoon of Garlic powder

2 tablespoons of Olive oil

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare the rice with lentils, place the lentils in a pot along with all the ingredients and bring to a boil.

Step 2 : Then add the rice, cover with water, and cook on low heat for an hour, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

Step 3 : Once ready, remove from heat and let it rest covered for half an hour before serving.
